Welcome to the CUNY Law Writing Center!

The purpose of the Writing Center is to serve as a resource for the entire CUNY Law School community. Through a variety of efforts, we strive to help students and faculty address the vital role of writing in the law school curriculum.

The Writing Center is run by Writing Fellows Joanna Mansbridge, Ornaith O'Dowd, and Kristen Vanhooreweghe, along with Writing Associate Lori Wallach. We are all CUNY doctoral students who have been specially trained in the theory and teaching of rhetoric and composition. The Center is supervised by Professor Andrea McArdle, the Law School’s director of legal writing, and Professor Susan Markus, Director of the Writing Center.
